Mahogany Handrail II

This Mahogany handrail on Eaton Square spans five floors. The existing finish needed to be completly stripped and the wood re-polish, as it was in extreemly poor repair.

Much of the handrail had also been bleeched by sunlight and all of the corners were made of a much lighter wood to the rest. This meant that the colour needed to be matched with stains and tints for a seamless colour throughout.

Once the colour was even across all the wood, French Polish was used to build the finish to a beautifully rich sheen.
