Hello knightjm and welcome to the Community. Unfortunately Home Depot does not pickup pallets . Home Depot will accept them if you bring them back to the store. If your local Home Depot store has a Tool Rental department, you could rent a truck or van, at a very reasonable rate, to use to return the pallets .
Seal and protect the wooden pallet using a polyurethane wood varnish. Apply the product with a painter’s rag or foam applicator brush in the direction of the wood grain. Allow it to cure overnight.
